Saints vs Hawks: Leith Dicker Cup Stays at the Nest!
Saturday at Trentham FNC.
Local rivalry. Big atmosphere. And the kind of footy and netball that reminds you why preseason matters.
The Saints brought it. They always do. That's what makes this matchup so good year after year. Hard, competitive, and played in the right spirit. Massive thank you to Trentham for the hospitality and for giving us exactly the kind of hit-out we needed before Round 1.
And after a massive effort across the field and court?
The Leith Dicker Cup is staying at the Nest.
Preseason Paying Off
You could see it all day. The work our players have put in over summer showed up when it mattered. Sharper skills. Better structure. Combinations clicking into place.
Our newest recruits? Slotted in like they've been wearing brown and gold for years. Immediate impact. No hesitation. Just got the job done.
That's what good cultures do. New faces come in and they're already part of something.
The Buzz is Real
If you were at the Nest this week or caught the vibe on socials, you'd feel it. There's energy around this club right now. Senior squads firing. Juniors launching strong. Two clubs, one community, all building toward something special in 2026.
Saturday just reinforced it.
This group is ready.
Thank You, Trentham
Rivalries matter. But so does respect.
Trentham always brings great competition, great hospitality, and great spirit. Days like Saturday are what community footy and netball are all about. We'll see you again soon, Saints.
But for now?
The cup's coming home with us.
Go Hawks!
Round 1 is just around the corner. Get around the Nest. It's buzzing.
