Pre-Season Netball Tournament

Spring is here and there's only one thing missing before Round 1 - some quality match practice! We're thrilled to announce the WHFNC Pre-Season Netball Tournament on Saturday, March 21st at Gilbert Gordon Reserve.

Whether you're testing new combinations, shaking off the off-season rust, or just itching to get back on court competitively, this tournament is the perfect warm-up for 2026.

Tournament Details

Grades Available:

• D/C Grade (enter D, C, or combined)

• U19s

• B Grade

• A Grade

The Catch? Only 8 teams per grade - first in, best dressed!

Format:

• 2 x 7-minute halves with rolling subs

• Round robin leading to finals

• Minimum 4 games per team

• Fast-paced, competitive, and FUN!

• Best on Court awards for each grade final

• Quality match practice before the season kicks off

Make It a Day Out

Bring the family! Spectator entry is just $5 (kids under 13 FREE). Our BBQ and canteen will be open all day - grab a feed, find a seat, and enjoy some great netball.

Gate takings support community netball programs, so your $5 helps keep the game thriving locally.

What You Need

Each team must provide:

• 1 qualified umpire

• 1 scorer

• Playing bibs in contrasting colours

• Qualified first aider and first aid kit courtside

CRITICAL: All players must be registered for the 2026 netball season to be covered by Netball Victoria insurance. No exceptions!

Code of Conduct

Let's keep it positive! Respect umpires' decisions (they're final), show good sportsmanship, and treat everyone with courtesy. Anyone breaching our code of conduct may be removed from the venue.

Safety First

The tournament will be automatically cancelled if a Code Red fire danger day or Total Fire Ban is declared for March 21st. We'll notify teams by 5pm the day before if conditions are uncertain.

Full refund if cancelled entirely. No refunds if started but abandoned partway through.
